OUR MISSION
 
Contributing to the creation of Karabuk University's science policy,
• To determine the priority research areas and topics in accordance with the university science policy,
• To increase the number of scientific projects,
• To carry out studies on the development of research infrastructure,
• To carry out studies to increase the number of qualified researchers,
• To ensure that our university is one of the best universities in the world in terms of quality and quantity of scientific projects,
• To encourage and support international publications,
• To carry out studies to increase the quality of research,
• Ensuring the creation and execution of the research database and automation system in order to measure and evaluate research performance,
• To support the issues related to the creation of regulations regarding the protection of intellectual property rights, if any, of the project outputs and the realization of technology transfers, and to ensure the development of innovation in the University,
• Encouraging the formation of such research groups by encouraging the planning and conduct of interdisciplinary research
 
 
OUR VISION
 
• To support scientific projects by using the resources allocated to our unit by our state and university in an effective and efficient way in line with the basic principles, in order to achieve strategic goals.
• To give priority to scientific studies that will produce solutions to regional problems, which are the social responsibility requirements of our university,
• To contribute to the development of industry-university cooperation,
• To ensure the correct and effective use  of the resources provided to the projects.
